In memory of Anne Oleck, who was born on March 10, 1924 and passed away on July 16, 2014 at the age of 90 years. Anne passed away peacefully at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre with her family at her side. Anne was predeceased by her parents, Eli and Dora Dereniwski; her husband of 67 years Peter; son Denis; daughter-in-law Diana; sons-in-law Howard and Kasimir; and her siblings Emilia and Adline. She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memory, her daughters, Barbara and Jackie; grandchildren, Kirk (Sheri), Charmaine (James), Michelle (Cameron), Clint (Beth), Erin (Clint); her two great-grandsons, Payton and Jaron; her sisters Mary, Olga, Leona and Livinia; sister-in-law Elizabeth (Ian) and many other friends and family. The Prayer Service was held on Sunday, July 20, 2014 from the Chapel of Christie's Funeral Home in Yorkton, SK with Father Peter Pidskalny, C.S.s.R. officiating. The Requiem Divine Liturgy was sung on Monday, July 21, 2014 from St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Yorkton, SK with Father Raymond Lukie, C.Ss.R. officiating. The responses were led by Mr. Ed Pindus and members of the Yorkton Ukrainian Catholic Choir. The Cross Bearers were Payton and Jaron Weinmaster and the Epistle was read by Charmaine Tomyn. The Interment Service followed in the Yorkton City Cemetery with Erin Cantelo, Kirk Weinmaster, Clint Weinmaster, Charmaine Tomyn, Michelle Birch and Sheri Weinmaster serving as the casket bearers.
