Myrtle Neufeld (nee Edwards), Aug. 24, 1938 - Nov. 15, 2016. Myrtle Neufeld (nee Edwards) went to be with her Lord on November 15 at the age of 78 years. Myrtle was born near Arborfield, SK. Growing up, she lived in various communities within Saskatchewan, one of which was Warman, where she met and later married Diedrich Neufeld in 1956. Their early married years took them to Lashburn and Naicam before settling in Saskatoon. In 1973 they moved to Yorkton. Myrtle was a devoted mother to her children and also worked with Diedrich in their family business, Neufeld Surveys. She will be remembered for her gift of hospitality, welcoming hugs and her love of cooking and baking. After Diedrich's passing in 2014, Myrtle relocated to Warman. She treasured her time getting to know her new friends in the condo and tending to her little garden. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Gerald (Beverly) Neufeld and their daughters Kelsey and Natasha; Wayne (Arlene) Neufeld and their daughters Bethany and Carlie; Clark (Wendy) Neufeld and their daughters Alyson and Rebecca and her daughter Cheryl (Brad) Redekopp and their sons Kyle and Eric; siblings Ellen Schell, Donalda Vesty, Wilma Sookochev and Eldon Edwards. She was predeceased by her husband Diedrich. Myrtle, along with the family, are deeply grateful for all the love and prayers, visits and cards, emails and messages from her family and friends as well as the doctors and nursing staff at St. Paul's Hospital during her last days. Interment took place at the Warman Cemetery on Monday, November 21. A Celebration of Life service followed at Erindale Alliance Church in Saskatoon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Paul's Hospital palliative care unit. Condolences may be left at .
