With a twinkle in his eye, Glen Moore (aka Red) has made the long journey up to the Heavens from his birth place of Manor, SK, where he reunites with family members and friends. You can imagine the reunion taking place with his parents, Gertrude (nee Moore) and Samuel Robert; siblings Hazel, Ornsby (Charles), Bernice, Clarence, Clifford, Lillian, Harold and Gertrude (Ilene); his children Robert, Randy and Marilyn; and his beloved wife, Nellie. Back on earth he leaves to continue their journey - Denise Barlow, whom he shared a deep and enriched life with as his dance partner, world traveler and love of twenty-three years; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he cared for deeply: Kelley Moore (spouse Lenore), Jolene Boivin (children Mikaela and Sydney), Robert (Bobby) Moore, Christopher Moore (spouse Ninette and children Jonah and Daniel), Barb Hudy (partner Chris), Ally Ouellette (spouse Clayton and child Adilyn), Desmond Moore (spouse Brady) and Kathy Monette (spouse Dallas and children Josilyn, James and Brooke); and, his dear coffee row friends whom he spent hours sharing stories with. An infectious Irish charm led Glen on many an adventure and though he yearned for a simple life with simple pleasures, this found him at the centre of many challenges and adventures - from wild chases with close buddies from his days working at the Radar Base, to dazzling "Stars" at Yorkton's Short Film Festival, to suffering losses no parent should have to endure, to one-upping the young ones with his bust-a-dance moves during many excursions. A professional tradesperson, fisherman, gardener, dancer and confident, Glen was gifted with a witty Irish insight that touched all whom met him. He was a lover of people, nature and a belly full of chuckles. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the Stars Air Ambulance - a cause Glen was very supportive of. Interment of Glen's ashes will be in the family plot in the Garden of Memories. Please join the family for a Memorial Tribute Service which will take place on Friday evening, September 12, 2014 at 7:00 pm at the Yorkton Memorial Garden Family Centre.
