Mary Magdalene Mengering (November 4,1917 - October 26, 2014). Mary Magdalene Mengering (nee Graf) was born on November 4, 1917 at Rhein, SK and died October 26, 2014 at the age of 96. Upon completing her education at the Rhein Freeman School and Luther College in Regina, she worked with her father in his retail store in Rhein. On October 30, 1939, she was united in marriage with Hebert Mengering, also of Rhein. Their marriage was blessed with two sons: Gerald of Saskatoon and Robert of Delta, BC. Mary enjoyed gardening and took great pride in her flower garden. Her many hobbies included knitting, crocheting, sewing and quilting. She also played the organ for the church choir for many years. She was predeceased by her parents, Amalia and Henry Graf; brother, Victor Graf; sister, Pauline Coderre; husband, Hebert and her son Gerald. She is survived by her son Robert (Ivadell) and their two children; David (Dawn) and Susan, her daughter-in-law Delores (Gerald) and their three children; Sherry (Bard) Skagestad, Randall (Jacqueline) and Glenn (Kerrie): Also ten great-grandchildren. Sonja, Eric & Paul Skagestad, Julia and Michael Mengering, Rain & Lucy Mengering & Deklan & Bronwyn Mengering. She will be missed by family and her many cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial and interment will be at a later date.
