Mary Lou Lascelle, 61, of Burgis Beach, SK, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2013 in Canora, SK. Surrounded by family who loved her deeply, she went to be with the Lord after a lengthy battle with cancer. Fondly known by some as "Granny Lou" or "Aunty Lou", she was truly beautiful and wonderful in every way. A wife, mother, sister, aunty, grandmother, daughter and friend, Mary Lou was well loved by her family and friends because of the way she unconditionally shared and showed her love. She will be thought of and missed every day. Mary Lou was predeceased by her first husband Dale Brucks, her parents Frank & Luella Simon, father in law Gordon Brucks and sister in law Lynn Brucks. Mary Lou will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her husband Ernie Lascelle, her son Brad (Carol) Brucks, their children Ander, Lucy and Cohen; son Cori (Eden) Brucks, their children Dominic, Story and Daxeus; daughter Jodi (Ryan) Bruce, their children Ezra and Cameron; Ernie's children, son Corey (Kathy) Lascelle, their children Katelyn, Rylee, Chaylene and Krystalynn; daughter Michelle (Robin) Christopher, their children Jaiden, Cascilla, Jarod and Kiandra; daughter Cherie (Rob) Hamilton, their children Christopher, Chase, Tia and Kyle; her brothers Mervyn (Brenda), Mike (Suzanne), and Mark (Shirley) Simon, sisters Marguerite (Bob) Ward, Mary (Harold) Kreutzer, Dale's mother Beatrice Brucks, his brothers Barry (Val), Chester (Wendy), Lindsay (Patsy) Brucks and sisters Brenda Brucks & Vickie Senger, as well as many beautiful nieces and nephews and wonderful friends. Coffee & luncheon followed at Alliance Church. All who loved Mary Lou were welcome to attend. Arrangements were entrusted to Kopan's Funeral Home.
