Nellie Krepiakevich: October 22, 1918 - June 18, 2013. Nellie Krepiakevich passed away at Victoria General Hospital on June 18, 2013 after a brief illness at the age of 94. She was predeceased by her parents, Wasyl and Pauline (Stefaniuk) Chepil, husband Andrew, daughter Alice (Tretiak), sisters Ann (Payton), Mary (Gibson) and brothers, John and Edward Chepil. Nellie leaves to mourn son Gordon (Marjorie) Krip; grandchildren Bruce Krip and Drew (Kate) Krip, great grandchildren, Finn and Kai; son Terry (Mary), grandchildren Tania (John) Muller, great grandchildren, Joseph and Genevieve; Andrea (Todd) Simser; Kristin (Gavin) Gray, great grandchildren, Tyler and Alyssa, sister in law Marjorie Drader, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was born in Hamton, SK the eldest of six children and helped on the family farm and in the house; where she learned to make the wonderful food she would later feed her own family and friends. She and Andrew moved to Winnipeg in 1944 to raise their family and prosper. She enjoyed cooking, knitting socks for the family, making beautiful crocheted doilies and table cloths, travelling and visiting with her family and friends. Funeral service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB on June 28, 2013 at 2:00 pm officiated by Right Reverend Gregory Mielnik. Pallbearers will be Terry Krepiakevich, Tania Muller, John Muller, Andrea Simser, and Bruce Krip. Honorary pallbearers will be Kristin Gray and Drew Krip.
