Margaret was born on September 23, 1924 to Johann (John) and Wilhemina (Kendel) Adams on their farm in Landestreu, SK. She was the second youngest of a family of 11. After Harold was discharged from the army, they made their home on the farm in Landestreu where they lived and farmed. Margaret and Harold were blessed with 5 sons. All the boys were very musical which Margaret enjoyed listening to. Harvest was always a time that she looked forward to as all the family worked together and there was always supper in the field. Margaret was proud of her family, and always had a big smile and a hug and a kiss for everyone. She lived for the moments when the family was all together and enjoyed all the Kitz laughter. In her spare time Margaret enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening, and baking and making sure no one ever left her home without being fed well. She loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids and never turned down an opportunity to watch them play sports and other activities, go for a bike ride, or make milk carton boats and was always in the middle of all the playing whether it be climbing trees to playing badminton. Margaret was very involved in the church teaching Sunday school, singing in the choir and being a member of Ladies Aid. In 2002, Margaret moved from the farm into Langenburg where she enjoyed visiting with family and friends and playing cards, with an enjoyable happy hour with her neighbours.
