It is with great sadness the family of Florence Margaret Jack, late of Yorkton, SK announce her sudden passing of natural causes, on Friday, April 5, 2013 at the age of 53. Florence was born June 14, 1959 in Invermay, SK, daughter of Arnold and Ida (Aveyard) Jack. She attended Invermay School all through her school years. She had two daughters who were her pride and joy and three grandchildren who were the light of her life. Florence enjoyed every opportunity that she was able to spend with her kids and their families, whether it was for a meal, a visit, an outing or camping. Some of her hobbies included coin collecting, reading, crocheting, bargain hunting, puzzles and visiting with friends and family....all with her purse in tow. Florence battled with mental illness for the majority of her life which often posed challenges which she had to overcome with the support of her family. She grew to accept these challenges and her illness, learning to laugh and enjoy life in her own unique way. Florence was very good at keeping in contact with her family both near and far. She had an exceptional memory for birth dates, anniversaries and special events. At this time in her life she had some wonderful, supportive friends who were often her partners in bargain hunting, or could be found having a cup of coffee or on the walking track. Florence was predeceased by her father Arnold, her grandparents and her brother-in-law, Howard. She leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory her children, Jamie (Damian) Shishkin and their son, Jordan of Yorkton, SK and Christie (Charles) Ockochinski and their children, Hannah and Karter of Springside, SK; her mother, Ida Jack; her brothers and sisters; Carol, David (Faye), Tim (Terri), Fred (Laurie), Earl (Cynthia), Rodney (Janet) and Joy (Kerry) as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends who were an important part of her life.
