Margaret Ann Isaacson of Dunleath, SK, beloved wife of Gary Isaacson, passed away on October 30, 2013 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre, Yorkton, SK. Margaret was born on May 27, 1949, the daughter of Alex and Anne MacDonald at Yorkton, SK. She married Gary Isaacson on December 19, 1970 in Yorkton. Their marriage was blessed with two daughters, Lindsay Greer and Lee Holly. Margaret always wanted to be with her family. When her daughters were children, Lindsay and Lee did everything with their parents, whether it was riding in the bunk of Gary's semi in his earlier trucking days, going on many family vacations or more simple things like planting the garden together or doing household chores. (Thanks, Mom!) Later on Margaret still proved how much she loved and wanted her family close. She and Gary worked side by side to build their successful car business for over 40 years, later bringing in their son-in-law, Jeff and then Lee to help continue the family business. Margaret and Gary really enjoyed travelling together. They enjoyed going across Canada and the United States to attend car sales to purchase vehicles for their business back home. They always liked "working" on their vacations. They would also take time for themselves travelling to various parts of Mexico and the Caribbean. Two of Margaret's favourite pastimes in life were going to horse shows and spending time with her grandchildren. Margaret and her daughter, Lee travelled all over Canada and the United States with their beloved show horses. Margaret also enjoyed going on trail rides with her neighbour friends. She loved her time with her grandchildren, Rylee and Jaxon. She enjoyed taking them to church and having them for sleep overs. Margaret cherished the many moments when Rylee would melt her heart with her kind ways and Jaxon would have her laughing so hard with his quick wit. Margaret handled everything in her life with grace, dignity, acceptance and an extraordinary amount of courage. The last things she asked for were if we could say grace and if everyone was happy. A wise woman said, you still die the same person you've always been and this is so true. Margaret always thought it was important to pray and she always wanted her family to be happy. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Alex and Annie MacDonald. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Gary; her daughter, Lindsay Sperling (Jeff); her daughter, Lee Isaacson Sliva (Dean) and two very special grandchildren, Rylee and Jaxon Sperling; her brother, Allan (Doreen) MacDonald; her sister, Florence Ceaser; nephews, Jeffrey (Shari), Jonathan (Richelle), James (Carolyn) and Jarett (Krista) MacDonald and Mark (Farideh) Ceaser as well as many other relatives, friends and neighbours. Funeral Services were held on Monday, November 4, 2013 from the Chapel of Christie's Funeral Home in Yorkton, SK with Reverend Devon Pattemore officiating. The organist, Carla Laycock, led the congregational in the singing of the hymns, "In the Bulb There is a Flower" and "The Lord's My Shepherd". The soloist, Farideh Ceaser sang one selection, "Leave it There". Margaret's friend, Jeanette Kirkness, shared words of tribute and eulogy. The Piper, Sheila MacDonald played "Amazing Grace" as a recessional piece. The Interment Service followed in the Yorkton Memorial Gardens, Garden of Devotion with Earl Upshall, Jeffrey MacDonald, Jonathon MacDonald, Jarett MacDonald, James MacDonald and Mark Ceaser serving as the casket bearers. The Interment Service concluded with the Piper, Sheila MacDonald playing "Road to the Isles".
