Stewart Hilderman was born in Rhein on June 5, 1937. He later graduated from the Yorkton collegiate and from the school of agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan. Stewart worked on the family farm and got his heavy duty mechanics ticket. After the death of his father (Adam) in 1972 he took over the family farm and dealership selling mostly Degelman rock pickers. Stewart's passion was building houses, inventing and innovating things on the farm to make things easier. Stewart is predeceased by his sister Hermaine, son Sheldon and wife Shirley. Stewart leaves to mourn, his sister Evelyn, son Kirby, daughter Teryl and grandchildren Connor, Sophia and Ibrahim as well as nieces, nephews and friends. A graveside and interment service for Stewart will be held at a later date at the Christ Lutheran Cemetery in Rhein.
