On January 23, 2014, William Gregory of Edmonton passed away at the age of 98 years. William is survived by two sons, Vincent and Richard (Doreen); five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by wife, Effie; daughter, Sharon; daughter-in-law, Gladys and parents, George and Helena Gregory. Prayers Tuesday, January 28 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Andrew's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 9831-75 Street, Edmonton, AB with Reverend Father Yuriy Suchevan officiating. Funeral Rite will be celebrated on Friday, January 31st at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Transfiguration Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 89 Bradbrooke Drive, Yorkton with Very Reverend Father Mel Slashinsky officiating. Interment in Yorkton Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, Alberta Cancer Foundation, 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2.
