Douglas Ernest Graham, beloved husband of Gina Graham (Pasto) of Springside, SK passed away suddenly July 11, 2014. He was 60 years of age. Doug was born to Ernie and Isabelle (nee Larson) Graham on August 19, 1953 at Moose Jaw, SK. The family eventually moved to Yorkton where Doug spent most of his life. Doug's education included the Public School System and the Yorkton Regional High School. Doug's employment history varied. He started as an orderly at the Yorkton Union Hospital and over the years his employment interests changed. The last 10 years he managed several apartment blocks. In his younger years he was batboy for Parkland Appliance Softball team until he was old enough to play right field. He was a goaltender for the Yorkton Bruins and was also a member of the two car clubs. He had a passion for fishing and was an avid fan of the Yorkton Terriers. Model railroading was another loved hobby of Doug's. Doug enjoyed music, especially that of Elvis Presley. Mornings were spent at "coffee row" with his friends. On May 17, 2003 he was united in marriage with Gina Pasto. They resided in Yorkton, eventually moving to Springside, SK. He was loved by all who knew him. Doug was predeceased by his father Ernie. He leaves to mourn his passing; mother Isabelle Graham; wife Gina; daughter Jodie and fiancé Regan; granddaughter Ryleigh; son Ryan and fiancé Andrea; grandson Jenson; son Jeoffery; step-daughter Renee; granddaughter Celeste; sisters Sharon (Harold) Mills, Donna (Dave) Kozak, Carol (Wayne) Knoll, along with several nieces, nephews, relatives and good friends. Doug will also be missed by his special cousin Val (Prokopchuk) and her husband Fred Hedley, Doug's very best friend. A Memorial Service took place at the Chapel of Christie's Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Devon Pattemore officiating. Special musical selections, "Peace in the Valley", " Bridge Over Troubled Water", "How Great Thou Art" and "Memories" were played from Doug's favourite, Elvis Presley. Special words and a poem were shared by Doug's sister, Carol Knoll. The urnbearers were Doug's wife Gina and his sister, Donna. A private family interment service took place at the Yorkton City Cemetery.
