Mr. Garry Fedorak of Yorkton passed away October 26, 2014 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre. He was 63 years of age. Garry Fedorak was born in the Kamsack Hospital on June 24, 1951 to John and Victoria. He grew up and spent most of his life living and working on his parents' farm in the Stornoway area. In his later years he lived in Yorkton with his mother and then he lived in a group home. Among the things he loved, playing his Ukrainian music records ranks at the top. He very much enjoyed bowling in the evening leagues at the Kamsack Bowling Alley and he could hardly wait until he could curl with his dad in the senior's league. In the last few years, Garry worked at Saskatchewan Abilities. He must have really enjoyed the work and co-workers there, because even after he became very weak and ill he still wanted to go to work. He was very fond of his cousins, especially Greg from Vancouver. When they got together, they would spend hours talking and laughing at the simplest of things. One of his greatest thrills happened just a couple months ago. Chelsea Mozeski, his community service worker, asked Garry if there was anything he wanted to do in his remaining days. One of his requests was to take a ride in an airplane. Chelsea made the arrangements and Garry took a 40 minute ride in a four-seat airplane. According to Chelsea, he had a blast and could not stop talking about it! A Graveside Service was held on Thursday, October 30 at Yorkton Memorial Gardens with Crystal Bailey, Certified Celebrant officiating. Condolences can be sent to the family at
