Lenore Erickson (Dahl) passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Kamsack Hospital in Kamsack, SK at the age of 81. Lenore is survived by her son Terry Erickson (Valerie) of Churchbridge, daughter Linda Roset of Churchbridge, daughter Colleen (John) Shullman of Yorkton and daughter Karen McEwen (Wayne) of Woodstock, ON. and her good friend Ron Nilsen of Hudson Bay. Her sister Louise (Evan) Buzzell of Golden BC, sister Darlene (Mike) Devlin of Golden, BC, sister Denise (Don) Hiron of Harrogate, BC, and her brother Brian (Sharon) Dahl of Edgewater, BC. Lenore is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Lenore was predeceased in death by her daughter Elaine, her husband Arthur Erickson, and her parents Norman and Blanche Dahl. Lenore was born on August 14, 1933 in Nora, SK to Norman and Blanche Dahl. Lenore married Arthur Erickson on April 14, 1952 in Flin Flon where they lived a short time until they moved to Preeceville, SK and then they moved to Yorkton in 1958. Lenore enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting for all her family, she loved reading, watching and feeding the birds year round. She also enjoyed camping, fishing and the great outdoors. She had a great love of animals, especially horses and the many dogs she had over the years. Even though Lenore had a quiet nature, she was a social person and loved having company. The coffee was always on and she loved visiting with everyone. Her greatest love was her family and friends who all felt "special" when they were in her company as she made you feel welcomed and loved. Cremation took place at Bailey's Funeral home followed by a memorial with family and friends Sunday, January 18, 2015. Interment is to follow in April 2015 at the Golden Community Cemetery in Golden B.C.
