It's with great sadness we announce the passing of Emily Byblow who went to be with her loving Lord on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at her residence in Scarborough, ON. Emily was born March 9, 1948 in Yorkton to Mike W. and Pearl Byblow (Beblow). She spent a wonderful childhood on the family farm east of Springside. Emily enjoyed socializing with family and friends and having a really good time. After graduating she moved to Winnipeg and worked at Winnipeg Distributors for ten years. She furthered her career with Zellers in the Human Resource Department in Swift Current, Sault St. Marie and Scarborough. Emily worked at Zellers for 34 ½ years. In 2010 she was forced to retire. She took life easy as she enjoyed cooking, baking, tending to her flower gardens and loved taking their dog Sheba for walks. Emily was a very loving and caring daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and real true friend to Shannon. She was an active member of St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church. Emily was predeceased by her parents, Mike W. (1988) and Pearl (2007), sisters Eleanor (2011), Valerie (1967), brothers Rodney (1991) and Gordie (1967). Emily leaves to celebrate and rejoice in her memory her sister Lenora (Richard) Spezowka of Yorkton, brother Robert Byblow of Springside, brother-in-law Wes Kitz of MacNutt, sister-in-law Lori (Melvin) Hnidey of Springside, her very dear friend Shannon Welsh of Scarborough, ON and their loving pet dog Sheba and nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends whom she cherished deeply. Emily we will miss your ever loving smile, your phone calls, laughter and most of all your unconditional love. You will be missed every day and your life will be forever remembered and celebrated. The Funeral Liturgy was held on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Yorkton with Rev. Father Ray Lukie, C.Ss.R. as the Celebrant. The responses were led by Laurie Fedorowich, Ron Wizniak & St. Mary's English Choir members. The cross bearer was Robert Byblow and the epistle reader was Toni Gromnisky. The interment took place in the Yorkton City Cemetery with Derek Kitz, Andy Beblow, Allen Beblow, Mitchel Hnidey, Andy Byblow and Billy Byblow serving as the casket bearers. Memorials honouring Emily's life may be made to the Diabetes Association or St. Mary's Church Building Fund. Condolences may be sent to the family at . Vichnaya Pamyat! Eternal Memory!
