Mary Prince Burman; Feb. 23 1935 - Dec. 28 2012 Marie (Mary) was born to Frank and Annie Antosh on February 23, 1935 in the Langenburg District of Saskatchewan. She married Clifford Prince in 1951 and they had four children, Marie (John Philip), Vicky (Darwin Symons), Leslie (Sherry), Shirley (Greg Soke), nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Mary worked at the Saltcoats Co-Op for a while and was secretary and bookkeeper for Cliff at their insurance office in Bredenbury for many years. Mary loved music and playing guitar and organ. She also loved to dance. Mary crocheted, knitted and cross stitched. She had a green thumb and always had plenty of beautiful flowers. An avid reader, Mary also enjoyed cross word puzzles and was a whiz at math and numbers. Mary loved fishing and travelling which she and Cliff did a lot of in his short retirement years. The thing that she loved the most was her dogs, who gave her hours of companionship and reciprocal love. After Cliff's death in 1998, she married Arthur Burman and resided in Esterhazy until Art's death in August of 2010. She then lived in Yorkton until April of 2012, when declining health forced a move to the Ituna Pioneer Health Care Centre where she resided until her death December 28, 2012. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Clifford Prince; her grandson, Tyler Soke, and her second husband, Arthur Burman. She leaves to mourn her passing her children and her sister, Marge (Ron Sherloski) and all of their families. Funeral Services were held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from the Chapel of Christie's Funeral Home in Yorkton, SK with Reverend Walter Farquharson officiating. The organist, Shani Apland, led the congregation in the singing of the hymns, "This Is God's Wondrous World" and "Safe in the Arms of Jesus". A special taped music selection of "How Great Thou Art" as sung by Elvis Presley was played. Following a luncheon in the Gunn Reception Room at Christie's Funeral Home, the Interment Service took place in the Bredenbury Town Cemetery with Greg Soke (in memory of Tyler Soke), Kyle Soke, Jeff Philip, Gerry Philip, Curtis Prince and Kenneth Prince serving as the pallbearers.
