Orest (AKA: Ernie Bednard) Bodnaryk was born October 26, 1926 in Hamton, SK and passed away February 24, 2016 in Vancouver, BC. Ernie loved and was loved by his wife Nancy of 63 years; his sons, Michael (Lisa) and Gordon (Marg); daughter, Kathleen (Mark); six grandchildren, Samantha, Charlotte, Jennifer, Kelsey, Matthew and Aidan; two great-grandchildren, William and Isabelle; extended family and many friends along the way. Dad enjoyed family times, watching his grandchildren's activities, travel with Mom, backyard gardening, helping neighbours and telling stories about the prairies. The Funeral was held at 807 West 61st Avenue in Vancouver, BC on Saturday, March 12, 2016 with Rev. Ken Wood as the Celebrant. Daughter Kathleen and son Gordon did the reflection sharing. Reception followed after the service. Interment took place in Vancouver, BC.
