YORKTON - The RCMP Musical Ride performed the first of three shows scheduled for Yorkton.
The first show, presented by Legacy Co-op Friday, followed the first night of racing at the 2022 CPCA Pro Tour Yorkton Classic. Both events played to a full grandstand.
The ride, featuring 24 black horses and their riders dressed in scarlet, was the first of the 2022 season and starts a 10-community tour through Saskatchewan.
The RCMP Musical Ride will perform a solo show Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m., then ride again at 6 p.m. ahead of the chuckwagon races.
