BIGGAR - Congratulations are being sent the way of the Under-11 Outlook Ice Hawks, who won the Hi-Way 14 'A' side league championship in Biggar on Sunday, March 10 with a victory over Elrose at a score of 12-4.
It was described as an uphill battle for the Hawks, who'd previously lost to the tough Elrose team on two occasions, so to wind up defeating them in the final to take the league title had to have the boys feeling vindicated.
Coached by Dan Erlandson, Shay Stephenson and Rick Wagner, the Under-11 Ice Hawks are comprised of players Nash Phillips, Brant Vestre, Llewyn Redden, Seth Derdall, Kash Stephenson, Raulan Erlandson, Bronson Skaalid, Drew Redlick, Tanner Hermanson, Jarrod Wagner, and Dawson Skaalid.
