Senior boys basketball returns to Outlook school

OHS once again has a thriving ball program on their local court.

OUTLOOK - In what seems to be the first time in a while, basketball seems to be alive and thriving at Outlook High School.

The school has once again formed a senior boys team for the first time in a handful of years, and the first game for the Blues was a home game on Tuesday, December 10 when the Rebels from Delisle Composite School came to town.

The game was an intense, back-and-forth affair that saw momentum switch between each roster at different points throughout the action, showing spectators that the win could've belonged to either team at any time.

In the end, perhaps poetically, the Outlook Blues were the victors in the team's return to the court at a close score of 57-51 over the visiting Delisle squad.

Coached by Owen Redlick and assistant coach/team manager Jasmine Akre, the Outlook Blues senior boys roster is comprised of players:

#4 Kynt Wallace
#6 Kirill Masalitin
#7 Dave Canete
#8 Chris Stadler
#9 Thomas Lucas
#10 Dima Horidko
#11 Shan Jardenico
#12 Brody Harris
#13 James Wagner-Mitchel
#15 Jesse Akre

The junior girls team from OHS was also successful at a tournament held in Central Butte over the weekend, going undefeated and bringing home first place.

It certainly seems as if the sport of basketball is in capable hands with talented boys and girls rosters at Outlook High School.
