OUTLOOK - Wings were on the menu at the Jim Kook Rec Plex on Thursday, February 20, and it was in support of a good cause.
For $15, people could enjoy a pound of chicken wings and help themselves to some Caesar salad, and for that price, the event had a very high turnout of people who came to support the Small Steps Early Learning Centre.
For those interested, bowling was also available at no cost and a 50/50 draw was being collected.
Of course, many people were quick to chow down on their wings and get in a quick visit before returning home to catch the 4 Nations Face-Off hockey game on TV between Canada and the U.S., which saw Canada victorious at a score of 3-2 in overtime.
