OUTLOOK - Now that the warmer and sunnier weather has arrived, outdoor sports are ramping up once again for the year as kids baseball has started up for the season, with the Outlook Riverhawks teams hosting concurrent games last week at the local diamonds at the Jim Kook Rec Plex.
On Wednesday, May 8, two games were running as Outlook teams welcomed rosters from Dundurn and Elrose, and then the same thing happened the very next night as Outlook's two Under-11 teams welcomed both rosters from Rosetown.
With parents and the public cheering them on, the kids showed off some impressive skills and displayed a keen eye for the game of baseball, setting the stage for the season to come.
The ball games continue this week, with the Under-11 Outlook team hosting Kindersley on May 16. The game start time is approximately 6:00pm.
