MILDEN - This reporter had an errand to run over in the community of Rosetown on Saturday, April 27, and in my travels along Highway 15, I came across this eye-catching memorial site.
What was at first just a marked location a couple of weeks ago now shows a wooden cross adorned with gorgeous flowers, jewels and keepsakes. The memorial site pays tribute to the memory of Jonas Ullrich, a local 21-year-old man from Sovereign who died in an SUV collision with a semi along that portion of the highway in December of 2022. A very impressive and emotional display, the site reminds us all that we only have one life, so you've got to make it count in any way that you can.
