DELISLE - A local high school football team featuring two Outlook players has wrapped its season after an incredible record for the 2024 season.

The Delisle Rebels, playing in the 4A 9-A-Side division, were victorious all season, grabbing win after win leading up to playoff season, ultimately garnering a 6-0 record.

On Saturday, October 26, the team hosted Shaunavon in conference action to decide who would advance to regional playoffs, and by the time the final whistle was blown, the Rebels were once again victorious at a score of 29-25. This win secured Delisle's spot in regionals, which were held one week later on Saturday, November 2.

It was here where Delisle, hosting the game, found their hardest competition in the form of the Tisdale roster.

Fighting tooth and nail, the game quickly became a back-and-forth affair with both teams putting in their best effort and trying to one-up their opponents.

By the time it was all said and done, Tisdale wound up the victors by defeating Delisle at a razor-close score of 38-37.

The Delisle Rebels, certainly with nothing to feel ashamed of in their rocksteady and impressive season, had some local talent on the team this year in the form of two Outlook players, Owen Kratchmer (#44) and TJ Pettigrew (#94).
