Vehicles vandalized

On March 8, the Yorkton Municipal RCMP Detachment received a complaint of vandalism to two vehicles belonging to members of the same family.

On March 8, the Yorkton Municipal RCMP Detachment received a complaint of vandalism to two vehicles belonging to members of the same family. A grey Ford Mustang and a brown Oldsmobile Alero each suffered damage when an unknown person(s) scratched the letters DR into the paint. It is believed that the damage occurred while the vehicles were parked in the downtown district on 4th Avenue North in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.

The Yorkton Municipal RCMP Detachment is currently investigating two complaints of vehicles being vandalized. Sometime between the hours of midnight and 9:00 a.m. on the night of April 10, two vehicles parked between the 100 and 200 block of 2nd Avenue North in Yorkton were damaged. One vehicle had tires slashed, while the other vehicle had a rock thrown through the front windshield.

The Yorkton Municipal Detachment is currently investigating a complaint of damage to a vehicle that occurred sometime during the evening of May 6 into the early morning hours of May 7. The vehicle was parked on the street in the 500 block area of Circlebrooke Drive located in the southwest corner of Yorkton, SK. Three tires of a white 2008 Ford Ranger truck were slashed. The investigation is continuing.

Cruelty to animalThe Punnichy RCMP are requesting the public's assistance in locating suspect(s) involved in a cruelty to animal complaint. Throughout the months of April and May, 3 horses from the Kawacatoose First Nation, have been killed. It is believed that these horses are being shot by a rifle or possibly bow and arrow.
