YORKTON - It was a big divisional head-to-head in Estevan Saturday as the Yorkton Terriers visited for an SJHL contest.
The Terriers arrived for the game in the SJ’s Viterra Division basement with 38 points, three points out of third and six back of second place Estevan.
The Terriers got off the mark first with Harrison Aldridge scoring 1:35 into the game.
The Bruins evened things 1-1 on a goal by Cade Kennedy at 6:23.
The tie held through the remainder of the first period.
It took only 2:32 for the Bruins to inch ahead 2-1 in the second period on a goal by Keagon Little.
Alexander Papaspyropoulos made at 3-1 at 11:16, a score that held through the remainder of the middle stanza.
The Bruin lead was halved when Anthony Domina notched his 15th of the season at 10:03 of the third period. It was a powerplay marker.
That would be it as the Bruins held on for a 3-2 win.
Ethan Farrow was in the Terrier nets facing 23-shots on the loss.

Next up for the Terriers is a home ice defence against Notre Dame Tuesday, Feb. 20, with Battlefords at the Westland Insurance Arena Friday, and then the Bruins are scheduled to visit Saturday.
