The annual York Lake Ladies tournament sponsored by Judy Hughes - On Trac Consulting was held on Aug. 20 with 74 ladies taking part. This was the second annual tournament using a two-person modified scramble format, which is growing in popularity and is seeing many new faces who are not normally comfortable playing in tournaments. This year there was a waiting list since the maximum number of golfers was reached.
The champion flight (pictured above with sponsor Judy Hughes) was won by Gilda Walls and Marina Walls. They won on a count back against runners-up Gloria Kensick and Suzy Plosz.
Winners of the other flights are as followed: first flight - Tamsen Dierker and Maggie Hancock; second flight - Barb Atkinson and Karen Renton; third flight - judy Hughes and Lois Okrainec; fourth flight - Sheryl Cote and Brenda Kitchemonia.
