The Yorkton UCT Terrier hockey club turned in a pair of ties in the Saskatchewan Bantam AA Hockey League last week, skating to draws with both Notre Dame and the Sask Valley Vipers.
On Oct. 28 at the Yorkton Kinsmen Arena, Brayden Miller scored twice and Brennan Watson scored once to give Yorkton a 3-0 lead, and then went on to prove that in the game of hockey no lead is safe as Notre answered back with three goals in 5:49 span of the third period to tie it up.
There was a bit more scoring but a similar result two days earlier (Oct. 26) when Kinsmen Arena was also the site of a home game for the UCT Terriers.
On Friday night, Sask Valley had the Terriers trailing 3-2 after the opening period.
JJ Fofonof and Mackenzie Welke each scored in that period for Yorkton.
Two more goals in the second period followed by another in the third period would give Yorkton their fifth goal of the game.
Sask Valley scored one in the second and another in the third period to round out a 5-5 tie.
