Terriers win in shoot out Tuesday

NORTH BATTLEFORD - The Yorkton Terriers played a road game against the Battlefords North Stars Tuesday.

The Terriers jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Erik Boers scored the only goal of the first period.

The North Stars tied the contest 1-1 at 10:30 of the middle stanza on a goal by Steven Kesslering.

It was a goal by Steven Norum at 13:33 re-established a lead for the Terriers at 2-1.

There was only one goal scored in the third period and it was by Emmett Wurst to tie the game 2-2.

The game went to overtime where Kishaun Gervais scored to give the Terriers a 3-2 win.

Tresor Wotton was in net for the Terriers facing 35-shots in the win, while Michael Harroch was in net for Battlefords facing 36-shots in the loss.
