The Terriers made an impressive turnaround Friday night against the Humboldt Broncos, winning 7-6 in overtime after a 3 goal disadvantage mid game.

What began as a fairly conventional game became a nail biter closer to the end of the second period. In the first period, Humboldt dominated. It seemed as if the Broncos' goalie was impenetrable, and the Terriers left the ice looking overwhelmed. The first period had some back and forth, with Humboldt's Reid Arnold taking the first goal and Terrier Kaeden Taphorn taking the second. Logan Foster snapped one in with ten seconds left in the first period for the Broncos. The game became more lopsided as time went on, at one point Humboldt with a four point lead. Some of the less faithful Terrier fans left the arena, unaware of the comeback that was to follow.

It was the second period where things really started to get interesting. The Terriers came back refreshed and started to chip away, fighting for its inches. The pendulum eventually would swing the other way through sheer grit.

By third period, it was Petruic's time to shine with multiple goals. Even his shots on goal were impressive. The game was tied by the end of the third period, though overtime would not last long. Unsurprisingly, he would be the one to score the game winning goal after leading the team back from a seemingly impossible deficit.

Humboldt flipped the script on Yorkton Saturday, though. Much as the Terriers did Friday night, so too did the Broncos starting out with a three goal disadvantage, but clawed their way to victory - finishing the game 6-5.
