Kipp Bayer from the Sturgis Composite High School was presented the Service Award for Saskatchewan High School Athletics Association. He was presented the award at the annual general meeting in Saskatoon on June 24.
The award honours people who have provided outstanding leadership and service and the promotion of high school athletics in the District, said information regarding the award. The service award nominations are accepted from each district association for persons who have made contributions to high school sports in a limited area over a period of time.
