In Yorkton This Week's March 27 edition, the pictures of the women's curling bonspiel winners were not in correct order. The A-side and B-side winners were mixed up. The A-side winners were: Susie Atkinson , Mavis Lutz, Bev Krasowski, Sandi Smogyi. The B-side winners were: Bernie Tocher, Chico Geisler, Janet Englot, Betty Molnar.
The Saskatoon Contacts defeated the Prince Albert Mintos for the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League championship on March 29.
