Yorkton track athletes from the Regional High School and Sacred Heart High School had strong showings at the 2013 SHSAA High School Track & Field Championships in Moose Jaw this past weekend.
The Regional's Cole Burkholder and Jaden Porte shinned the brightest individually. Burkholder, in the midget category, and Porte, in the junior category, captured silver medals in the 800m race.

Yorkton Regional High School: Kellie Onda-Inglis - fifth place in midget girls' 800m and seventh place in pole vault, Cole Burkholder - silver in midget boys' 800m and fourth place in 1500m, Caleb Bymak - bronze in midget boys' 4x100m relay, Brodie Ottenbreit - fifth place in midget boys' pole vault, Brendan Weber - fourth place in junior boys'100m and a bronze medal in 4x100m relay, Jaden Porte - silver medal in junior boys' 800m and fourth place in 1500m, Earl Langan - sixth place in junior boys' shot put, Daniel Mandziuk - fourth place in senior boys' open 4x400M relay, seventh place in 200m, and fourth place in 400m. Sacred Heart High School: Jonah Sutter - bronze medal in the 4x100m relay, fourth place in triple jump, fifth place in long jump, and sixth place in 100m, Caleb Sutter - bronze medal in 4x100m relay, Justine Zarowny - eighth place in 3000m and eighth place in 800m.
