Preeceville Panthers battle Watrous in home game

The Preeceville Panthers battled hard but came up short with a loss of 36 to 14 against Watrous during a home game on October 5.

            "The team has had a great season but it is the little mistakes that have cost us games," said Jeremy Mattison, defence coach. "We are doing well for a young team and were on our game but some fumbles and missed tackles have added up against us.â€

            The Preeceville Panthers finished fourth in the league and will host conference playoffs against Assiniboia, which placed fifth, tomorrow (October 13). If the Panthers win, the next game will be against Wynyard.

            "The team has evolved over the season and has gained valuable experience," he said.
