Preeceville foursome takes first place in Canora Mixed Bonspiel

The Perry Pasiechnik rink of Preeceville won the three-day Canora Mixed Bonspiel,which wrapped up on March 29 at the Canora Curling Club.

The Perry Pasiechnik rink of Preeceville won the three-day Canora Mixed Bonspiel,which wrapped up on March 29 at the Canora Curling Club.

The winning team was made up of Pasiechnik (skip), Laura Pasiechnik (third), Darryl Hanson (second), and Agnes Dubelt (lead).

The mixed bonspiel was the final curling event of the season at the Canora Curling Club, and was played using a Brandon Draw points scoring system.

Each team played three games, and the Pasiechnik rink finished at the top of the points standings after play was completed.

The other seven rinks that competed in the bonspiel were: Sean Kolodziejski, Darryl Stevenson, Kelly Beblow, Bob Kolodziejski, Vern Schick, Lawrence Everett and John Zbitniff.

All teams were from Canora unless otherwise indicated.
