The Preeceville Panthers recorded their second win for the season on October 1 when they downed Watson with a final score of 62-8 in an away game.
鈥淭he team put in a better effort and came away with a huge win,鈥� said Jeremy Mattison, coach. 鈥淪ean Paligan had a great game by scoring six touch-downs. For a grade 9 student that is a huge undertaking.
Noah Tonn and Spencer King also scored one touchdown each.
鈥淭his game had us going back to the basics,鈥� he said. 鈥淲e played hard with a intensity to win. All the hard work and practice paid off as the team is looking looking great and ready to put more wins in the win column.
The Panthers did suffer a loss against Wynyard on September 25 but regrouped to play harder as a team.
The Panthers鈥� next game will be on October 8 against Wynyard.
