The ice was ready and the Broda Sportsplex winter season got underway on October 15. The first group to strap on their skates this season was the IP (Initiation Program) hockey team and among the youngest on the team were Sophia Walter, left, and Izzy Marsh who needed one another for a bit of support.Â
