聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 The Kamsack Comprehensive Institute junior Spartan football team defeated the Watson team 48 to 18 in Watson on September 19.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淥ur offensive units scored a touchdown on every series and looked very dominant,鈥� said Tylor Lorenzo, a coach. Four touchdowns were scored by Josh Bielecki, two by Kade Wishnevetski and one each by Ryan Bear and Kayden Aker.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The defensive unit was very strong, stopping Watson鈥檚 offense numerous times, including an interception for a touchdown by Sadie McGriskin, which was unfortunately overturned by an offside penalty, Lorenzo said.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淢ost of our team has been together for the last two or three years, but we have a lot of new additions, which strengthened our team,鈥� he said. 鈥淭hrough hard work, dedication and commitment, we have been able to rebuild our football program here at KCI, with students starting as young as Grade 5.
