Sacred Heart student Preston Liebrecht attended the Golden Barrell track meet in Edmonton over the weekend.
He came home from the meet with a gold medal in high jump competition.
He also beat his PB (personal best) with a jump of 1.86m, as explained via email to YTW.
He has been also training in hopes of being selected for the Western Canada Summer Games which are scheduled for Kamloops this summer.
