      Eleven teams were entered in the Sturgis open bonspiel held from January 15-21.
           The team of Craig Folk with team members Jason Peterson, Kipp Bayer and Nick Bodnar won the A event of the bonspiel. The rink defeated the Merv Secundiak rink comprised of Blair Secundiak, Camron Secundiak and Cole Kowalchuk.
           The second event was won by the Brad Cameron rink with team members Dwight Rubletz, Eugene Boychuk and Jim Prekaski. They defeated the Don Kurulak rink of Ken Bazinsky, Henry Prekaski and Jerry Lenych.
           The third event was won by the Trudy Halvorson rink, comprised of Kylie Babiuk, Brynn Babiuk and Paige Hansen. They defeated the rink of Tyler Blender, Chris Halkyard, Shane Nelson and Carter Halkyard.
           Other teams entered were skipped by Lou Roste, Shae Peterson, Kim Ryczak, Derek Ryczak and Cory Babiuk.
