The Yorkton Atom Gridders won a thriller on Sunday in Regina. In a see-saw battle of offenses, the Gridders hung on to take the nail-biter 46-45 over the Balgonie Griffins North.
While the offense dominated with seven touchdowns, the defense did their part in creating four turnovers.
Scoring majors for the Gridders were Dylan Lepowick with four, Garion Miller with two and Jordin Rusnak for one. Intercepting on the defense were Brad Heskin and Steven Smith with one each. Recovering fumbles were Mason Lammers and Matthew Cochrane.
The Atom Gridders will be hosting their last regular season game this Saturday at 11 am at Century Field as they go up against the Regina Bears.
