The Preeceville Skating Arena kicked off another season with a free skate open to the public on October 10, 11, 12 and 13. Hockey players from the novice to midgets had the opportunity to dust off their skates early playing a little three-on-three hockey during the week.
The hockey season is scheduled to start this week with power skate training and some practices.
The arena has had numerous upgrades during the summer, including new seating, new rubber matting throughout the arena and new heating for the ice area seating.
