YORKTON - On March 18, the YBID made the last installment of a $25,000 contribution to the Yorkton Flour Mill.
YBID made commitment to contribute $5000 a year for five-years as seed money for the mill committee’s use.
“We are excited to see the changes in the Mill and how its growth will not only draw people to Yorkton but encourage the use of the Mill in the future and how that will unfold,” stated Donna Brothwell, executive director with YBID. “We look forward to the events and fundraisers that the mill.”
Brothwell added it will be good to see the mill committee continuing to raise money for the overall project now that the restrictions from the pandemic have been lifted.
