October 12, 1967-A ratepayers meeting was held in Endeavour in support of the decision to continue to demand that Grade 7 and 8 students be taught at Lillian School instead of being transported to Sturgis.

September 16, 1971-Ken Lozinski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lozinski of Lady Lake, spent the summer in northern Saskatchewan where he was engaged in a special population and geography study.

March 29, 1973-After five years of service in the Preeceville area as United Church minister, Rev. Earl McIntyre will be leaving Preeceville.

June 3, 1971-Resurfacing of 21 miles of Highway No. 314 between Preeceville and Buchanan was nearing completion.Ìý

August 7, 1969-Marion Myhr, 17, of Preeceville was awarded second place out of 14 contestants in the Saskatchewan Dairy Princess completion held in Saskatoon.
