The Sturgis Composite High School class of 1967 reunited after 50 years to reminisce and get reacquainted at Rawhides on July 15.
The afternoon kicked off with a tour of the Sturgis Composite School. A registration and a photography opportunity followed at Rawhides in Stenen.
Wayne Belous welcomed the graduates, spouses, visitors and guests after reminiscing.
"A moment of silence was held in honour of past students who passed away," said Harold Anaka, one of the organizers. Marianne Brennan (German) said grace prior to supper being served.
A special reunion cake was served after supper. The cake was donated by Preeceville Shop Easy bakery.
"A fun time was enjoyed and much appreciated by all who attended," said Anaka.
Past students who were in attendance traveled from B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario.
