Staff in place as school is to begin September 1

The 2015-16 school year is to begin for teachers on August 27 and for students regular classes will begin on September 1.

The 2015-16 school year is to begin for teachers on August 27 and for students regular classes will begin on September 1. There are a number of new teachers in the Good Spirit School Division schools in the area north of Yorkton, said Brittany Korell, human resources coordinator for the GSSD who prepared the staff lists for each school. New staff members are those who were hired during the previous school year.

Canora Composite School

There are few changes at Canora Composite School. Kim Eiteneier is the principal and Curtis Baillie, the viceprincipal. Other members of the teaching staff are: Helen Forbes, Andrew Hoffman, Lisa Johnson, Robin Kapitoler, Colin Knight, Leona Kitchen, Thomas Lowes, Cecil Machnee, Dustin Nielsen, Ronda O’Dell, Kelly PerepelukNieckar, Koren Pitkethly, Nathan Seghers, Jennifer Sleeva, Cindy Sznerch, Cal Tomilin, Karen Wilgosh and Alexandra Blatter.

Michelle Sliva and Clarissa Mydonick (new) are the administrative assistants and Jennifer Bisschop is the library technician. Educational assistants are: Michelle Anaka, Linda Dyck, Lorraine Gress, Donna Rock (new), Jacqueline Skurat, Lisa St. Mars and Shyla Yannoulis. On the custodial staff are Dan Boyle, Christopher Donovan and Melodie Berehula.

Canora Junior Elementary School

The new teachers at Canora Junior Elementary School are Heather Loewen and Darla Zayshley. With Rod Steciuk as principal, other members of the teaching staff are: Eugene Chorneyko, Chris Danyluk, PattiJo Donovan, Rhonda Exner, Jillian Granello, Arlene Lozinski, Lesley Miles, Lindsey Ostafie, Jennifer Prychak, Betty Tomilin and Scott Vaughan.

Kim Hladun is the administrative assistant. Educational assistants are Connie Dunbar, Bev Hadubiak, Lynda Hermanson and Shirley Kulcheski.

Catherine Spokes is on the custodial staff.

Invermay School

There are no new teachers at Invermay School. With Penny Castle as the principal, other members of the teaching staff are: Jennifer Currah, Diana Enge, Melissa Grona, Nathan Hrynchyshyn, Nathan Lawrence, Cecil Machnee (also a Canora teacher), Dalice Nelson, Debbie Penner, Nathan Seghers and Roderick Zwarych.

Barb Dawe is the administrative assistant and Marie Grychowski is the Library technician. Educational assistants are Angela Andreas, Karen Dubas, Kristy Fogg, Marie Grychowski and Marina Soltys (new).

Tim Chodak is on the custodial staff.

Kamsack Comprehensive Institute

There are three new teachers at the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute: AmyLynn Costigan, Cara Shabatoski and Barbara Tanner.

With Tracy Forsythe as principal and Ryan Gareau as vice-principal, other members of the teaching staff are: Brian Angeloni, Claire Bishop, Krystal Deveau, Kristen Doyle, Tracey Fedorchuk, Julie Gareau, Michelle Guillet, Kevin Kitchen, Darren Kitsch, Ryan Lambert, Tyler Lorenzo, Alexis McGonigal, Rob McLean, Julianna Nichol, David Placatka, Joanne Schwartz, Wendy Shabatoski, Ryan Stanko, Greg Thomas and Glenda Tulloch.

Administrative assistants are Michele Tomochko, Tammy Heskin (new) and Leanne McGriskin (new). Educational assistants are Shannon Bielicki, Lee Bowes, Amanda Carpenter, Rebecca Lawless (new),Ìý Naomi Tensen (new) and Lucille Villeneuve.

Barb Tetoff is the library technician and Tracie Kazakoff is the nutrition worker. Andrea Verigin is the community school coordinator and George Musqua is the family support worker.

On the custodial staff are: Amy Luu, Martin Leis and Donna Sawatzky.

Victoria School (Kamsack)

New teachers at Victoria School in Kamsack are: Aleksandra Stankusz, Rebecca Gibbs, Barbara Johnson, Keri Lindsay, Ken Paskewitz and Michael Woollard.

With Karie Thomas as principal and Kendra Simon as viceprincipal, other members of the teaching staff are: Kim Chutskoff, Carol Dutcheshen, Kimberly Gulka, Chantel Kitchen, Kelly Lambert, Desiree Lee Lorenzo, Colleen Pennell, Kathleen Raabel, Scott Tulloch, and Chelsey Williams.

Monica Morgan is the administrative assistant. Educational assistants are: Amanda Carpenter, Theresa Puk, Jenna Bowes (new) Kim Hudye, Sheryl Lippert, Karen Koreluik (new), Masako Knight, Andrea Marsh and Leanne Zbeetnoff.

Rhonda Thomsen is the library technician. Leanne McLean is the nutrition worker and George Musqua is the Aboriginal community worker. Andrea Verigin is the community school coordinator. On the custodial staff are Michael Syvret (new) and Ling Tang.

Fort Livingstone School (Pelly)

With Tara Blosha as the principal of the Fort Livingstone School in Pelly, members of the teaching staff are: Cory Johnson, Darren Kitsch, Shirley Myhre, Ruth Popowich, Allyson Rock, Randeen Simonsen, Nicole Silvius, Jackelyn Spencer, Caitlynd Sutherland and Glenda Tulloch.

Tammy Heskin is on the administrative staff. Educational assistants are Ronda Lasko, Tricia Shankowsky and Trudy Tuttle. Shelley Thiessen is the library technician and Adeline Mills is on the custodial staff.

Norquay School

With Trevor Olson as the principal of Norquay, other members of the teaching staff are: Barry Chorneyko, Melissa Chorneyko, Lisa Dyck, Jeannette Ebert, Geoff Grocholski, Robyn Holodniuk, Rhonda Innes, Heath Morin, Nicole Olson, Lindsay Peters, Colleen Robinson, Evan Rostotski, Stacy Rubletz and Nathan Seghers.

Tracy Grywacheski is the administrative assistant. Educational assistants are Erin Auchstaetter (new), Christine Lukey (new), Juanita Newcombe, Bowdrie Northrop, Kristen Ramsay (new) and Rene Wasylyniuk (new).

Sandra Turta is the library technician. On the custodial staff are Ruth Lukey and Daniel Wasylenchuk

Sturgis Composite High School

There are two new teachers at the Sturgis Composite High School: Meghan Clancy and Allyson Grywacheski. Brad Cameron and Kipp Bayer, are the principal and viceprincipal (respectively) at both, the high school and at Sturgis Elementary School.

Other members of the teaching staff at the high school are: Michael Andrusko, Sherry Lesser, Carla Lewis, Kristen Peterson, Kelsey Seerey and Nathan Seghers.
Janel Roelens and Terry Zawislak (new) are the administrative assistants.

Educational assistants are Bev Kardynal and Cecilia Sliva. Katrina Wasylenchuk in the library technician. On the custodial staff is Gary Perpelitz.

Sturgis Elementary School

With Cameron as principal and Bayer, viceprincipal, other members of the teaching staff at Sturgis Elementary School are: Kathleen Guest, Carla Lewis, Carla Olson, Tara Romanchuk, Nathan Seghers and Lisa Serdachny.

Terry Zawislak is the administrative assistant. Sheila Meroniuk and Levi Young are the educational assistants.

Katrina Wasylenchuk is the library technician and Karen Boen (new) is on the custodial staff.

Preeceville School

New on the teaching staff at the Preeceville School are Ashten Franklin, Meghan Morton and Katelynn Prokop.

With Douglas King as principal and Kent Seerey, vice-principal, other members of the teaching staff are: Laurie Antonichuk, Cary Franklin, Donna Hamilton, Leslea Hanson, Shelly KingKaminsky, Sheila Klebeck, Tonilee Lario, Bonnie Lisitza, Heidi Paterson, Arlene Prestie, Nathan Seghers and Erin Stolar.

Laura Sliva is the administrative assistant. Educational assistants are: Brittany Balawyder (new), Chlorisa Erickson, Rachael Kashuba, Ivy Krauss, Denise Olson, Lisa Guliak and Merle Townsend.

Sharon Bileski is the library technician. On the custodial staff are Marilyn Johannesson and Patricia Wiwcharuk.
