SASKATOON — Update: Westbound lanes of 8th Street have reopened to traffic, say police. A 24-year-old male pedestrian is being treated in hospital for what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries.
Original release: Saskatoon Police are on the scene of a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.
The collision occurred at 8th Street East and Broadway Ave. just before 1 p.m. The male pedestrian was transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services.
At 1:17 p.m., police were asking motorists to avoid the immediate area.
