SASKATOON — Saskatoon police are attempting to locate a Saskatoon man who may be in possession of a firearm.
Rolfe Rueben Herman, 32, is wanted on charges of aggravated assault and forcible confinement following an incident earlier this month.
Herman was determined to be the suspect involved in an incident on March 26 in which a firearm was pointed at police members, resulting in an officer discharging their firearm.
Herman is described as six foot one in height, approximately 175 pounds with brown eyes and black hair styled in a brush cut. He has a full sleeve tattoo on his left arm, a tattoo of skulls on his left forearm. The name “Ryder” is on the left side of his neck and a tattoo of faces on his right calf. It is believed Rolfe Herman may be in possession of a firearm.
At approximately 10:30 p.m., March 28 police attempted to stop a vehicle in the area of 8th Street East and Grosvenor Avenue. It was believed Herman was inside the vehicle. The driver refused to stop for police and evaded police, colliding with post at St. Henry Avenue and Ruth Street East. The driver then fled on foot. Police continued to search the area throughout the night; however, the suspect was not located.
Anyone with information on Rolfe Herman’s whereabouts is asked to avoid approaching him and call 911 or the SPS non-emergency line at 306-975-8300. Anyone wishing to provide information but remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
