REGINA - A Regina pair are $100,000 wealthier thanks to the Extra they added to their ticket for the January 24 Lotto Max draw.

Sheldon Panchuk and Ginger Dick purchased their ticket from Get It On The Way at 6887 Rochdale Blvd. in Regina the day before the draw and discovered their win by scanning it on the Lotto Spot app.

“No way!” is all Dick could say when she scanned her ticket at home the day after the draw.

“I thought something was wrong,” Panchuk recalled as they claimed their prize. He added that when he found out what was happening, he felt “dumbfounded.”

“I didn’t believe it!” he laughed.

Panchuk and Dick said they scanned their ticket more than three times to confirm their windfall.

The pair, who won their prize by matching the last six digits on the Jan. 24 EXTRA — 4130512 — are still thinking about how they will use their winnings. Apart from paying some bills, they do have one plan.

“I’m going to buy something not on the value menu and maybe some two-ply toilet paper.”” Panchuk joked.
