Preeceville teams play three home games

The Preeceville hockey teams have been busy with three home games held at the Preeceville Skating Arena. The Preeceville atom hockey team faced off against Kamsack in a home game on January 10.

            The Preeceville hockey teams have been busy with three home games held at the Preeceville Skating Arena.

            The Preeceville atom hockey team faced off against Kamsack in a home game on January 10. The Preeceville team defeated Kamsack with a final score of 9-8.

            Scoring for Preeceville were: Cole Secundiak (three goals), Mason Babiuk (two goals), Riley Kuta, Kimmuel Albarracin, Cole Masley and Tristan Acosta. Zander Purdy was the only one who assisted in one goal.

            The Preeceville bantam hockey team defeated Esterhazy in a home game on January 8 with a 9-3 final score. Scoring for Preeceville were: Shelby Wallin and Carter Masley (each with two goals), Peyton Secundiak, Seth Rayner, Jacob Danyluk, Zane Bayer and Dustin Shankowsky. Assists were by Todd Pankratz, Jakob Turchinetz, Shelby Wallin, Carter Masley, Dylan Wiwcharuk, Elijah Hort and Peyton Secundiak.

            The Preeceville peewee hockey team defeated Langenburg in a home game on January 15 with a final score of 4-3. Scoring for Preeceville were: Seth Hort (two goals), Keannu Albarracin and Archer Franklin. Assists were by Trever Geistlinger, Keannu Albarracin and Camron Secundiak.

            "The Preeceville and Kamsack midget hockey teams will be hosting the rest of its games in Preeceville," said Kipp Bayer, coach. "The team is looking forward to showcasing its talents in front of the hometown fans. The next games will be January 21, January 29, February 7 and February 10.

            “We will also be hosting  a provincial game that is yet to be determined," he said.
